I highly recommend buying in Italy or in another location where the people, culture, food, and climate resonate. I’ve had my piccolo casa for five years now and have become a cyclical ex-pat, three months in the US and three months in Italy. Ninety-day visits twice a year are allowed by the Schengen Visa.
